Dear Partridge
There is to be a monster meeting of King Natives at Wahi near Huntly Waikato- early in March and it occurs to me that we might there attain our object of getting up a tuwaewae. All the Thames Natives, and several Tauranga people will be there, and the whole of the Kingite Waikato. I shall be there. I will probably go there before the meeting and will let you know the exact date. I have something to do for the Government on the quiet, but do not wish the Natives to know that I shall be there otherwise than in a
private capacity.
